I was looking out the store-front window into the Mall of Georgia last weekend and noticed something I have not seen all year. A gigantic increase in mall traffic, yet we did not nearly clear the sales I expected. There were so many visitors, it took 45 minutes to get out of the parking lot onto the side road and back on main street! Yes folks whether your ready for the season, it has arrived. - SalesHQ Web Links
- SalesHQ SEO
The target of these keyword phrases is SalesHQ, and both results hit the mark. What do the two keyword phrases tell us? That most likely the user doing these searches, has already visited, or to some extent, contributed to SalesHQ. The keywords used above, help determine the intent prior to the visit. If we were to look at a program such as Google Analytics, it would show us how the visitor found us, and where they came from (Organic Search Result, or Sponsored Link) for these keyword phrases.
Now lets try two more keyword terms;
- SalesHQ
- SalesHQ Register
This example is especially helpful when you want to target your visitors. This is a very easy way to start understanding what kind of visitor your getting. If I searched with Register in the phrase, the website statistics say 90% (Random Number) of those who searched this phrase, signed up and start using. If I were “Just Looking”, a more broad term might be used. By giving a user the the web page that showcases your product, service, or solution by keyword search result, your user starts to become defined. This is a relevant piece to your Internet Marketing Strategy, and a simple place to get started.
Website visitors can be very helpful to your bottom line. More Website Traffic means more customers. You can now begin to build with the right keyword and keyword phrases that help define the users intent. Provided you have handled there search term accordingly, the “Just Looking” visitor is now a “Consumer ready to buy”.
